Festival of Trees

The Annual Habitat for Humanity Festival of Trees held with the collaboration of Rotary Club of Cadillac was held on November 21, 2009. The evening was a shining example of how two community non-profits could team up to help raise funds.
The event was held in a room sparkling with many Christmas Trees decorated with extra care for the event. Auctioneer, Bill Rzepka performed his magic and brought top dollar for the trees, with the purchasers knowing their donations for the trees would help to serve not only Habitat for Humanity, but also the many worthwhile projects sponsored by Rotary Club of Cadillac. Before the evening was over, $43,206 was raised for Habitat for Humanity and over $9,000 was raised for Rotary. Thank you to all who attended or helped with the event.
