Cadillac Rotary's Inbound Exchange Student, Leo Boyere

Leo, spoke at the January 14, 2014 noon Rotary Club meeting.  Leo showed pictures from France and talked about his life in France. Leo mentioned that they do not have snow where he lives, but that they do have snow in the mountains. While here in the United States on the Rotary International Youth Exchange Program he has enjoyed learning about Cadillac. When asked what he missed most he mentioned that he misses French Food which according to Leo is the best in the world. He also mentioned that one of his favorite places to visit in Cadillac is Dairy Queen, and that they do not have Dairy Queen in France.

In attendance at the Rotary meeting were his current host parents, Steve and Lori King, his host brother, Matthew King and his previous host Dad, Butch Meyer. Rotary would like to thank the host parents as we realize how valuable they are in the Exchange Program experience. If any Cadillac Rotary club members haven't had an opportunity to spend some time with Leo they are encouraged to reach out to him. We are fortunate to have such a great exchange student this  year.
