Rotary Presents check for $41,250.00 to
Cadillac Area Public Schools for
Camp Torenta Activity Center renovation.

At the June 28th Cadillac Rotary Club meeting President Jon Catlin presented a check in the amount of $41,250.00 to Cadillac Area Public Schools Superintendent, Paul Liabenow for the renovation of the Activities Building at Camp Torenta.

Rotary Club of Cadillac has a long history of parterning with Camp Torenta to help provide the outdoor experience to children of the greater Cadillac Area.  This past year the Rotary Club chose Camp Torenta to be the recipient of 75% of the proceeds from their annual Auction.

With the near completion of the Activities Building, students in the area will have a year round facility for studies that will help them better understand the enviorment.

In addition to the funding for the Activities Building, Cadillac Rotary also helps provide scholarships for students to attend camp when they would otherwise be unable to attend because of financial hardships.
