2012 Rotary Scholarship Winners
At the May 29, 2012 Cadillac Rotary Club meeting scholarships were presented to 5 area Seniors from the Cadillac Rotary Club and from Cadillac Rotary Charities. This year 29 students applied for the scholarships and the selection process was difficult due to the high caliber of the applications.
The first $1,000.00 scholarships was awarded to Nicole Keller of Cadillac. Nicole is enrolled to attend Grand Valley State University this fall in their Occupational Therapy Program.
Erin Swanson of Lake City received the second $1,000.00 scholarship. Erin will be attending Michigan State University this fall to study Athletic Training.
The third recipient was Kaitlyn Ware from Pine River High School. Kaitlyn will start Adrian College this fall to major in Music Permormance.
Nicole Bruggema received the 4th scholarship of $1,000.00. She is enrolled to begin Michigan State University thi sfall and major in Pre-Med.
Britta Patterson of Cadillac High School was awarded the final $1,000.00 scholarship. This fall Britta will attend Aquinas College and major in Music Therapy.
