Rotary meets at Wexford Historical Museum to view recently completed renovations.

On July 27th the Cadillac Rotary Club met at the Wexford County Historical Society to view the newly completed copper dome and skylights that were replaced in part with a donation of $50,000 from the Rotary Club.

The original dome had deteriorated and by preserving the exterior dome area first, the Historical Society will then be able to rehabilitate the rest of the building and restore it to its original splendor.

As one of 53 Carnegie Library buildings left in the State of Michigan, and one of the more impressive structures, it was imperative to replace and repair the dome to prevent further deterioration of the building.
