S.T.R.I.V.E. Stands for: “Students Taking Renewed Interest in the Value of Education”

S.T.R.I.V.E. is a program for high school seniors who have faced some academic challenges, but want to make the most of their last year of high school. Students who choose to participate in S.T.R.I.V.E. are matched with an adult mentor from the Cadillac Rotary Club. Mentors are not tutors, but are there to offer support, encouragement and assistance.

This is a student driven program that is facilitated by Rotarians. Students and mentors meet once a month for about 50 minutes during the school day and talk about how school is going and what their plans are for the future. Meetings also include presentations on topics relevant to life after high school – college, careers, finances, etc. The goal is for students to improve their grades and develop a plan for their future.

The S.T.R.I.V.E. Program is FUN, INTERACTIVE, and often involves each and every Rotarian. We want our communities graduates to be Successful, Productive members of society and we can't accomplish this goal without your support.  Thank you!
