Randy’s last meeting as Rotary President was June 29; before he handed over the gavel, he focused on the highlights and successes of his year in a pandemic. The success of our Annual Auction, Great Lake Clean-up, hosting the District Conference, virtual meetings, Scholarships for CAPS students, Pint for Polio, and Strive 5k Run/Walk.
Randy also honored Mike Kelso as our IT person, Susan Dennis for her dedication to a successful Rotary Auction, Mark Lagerwey as past President, Jessi Holly as secretary, and his board members. Randy was happy to announce we gained four new members this year and presented a Paul Harris pin to John MacLeod, with two sapphires recognizing his donations.
It was not an ordinary year; Randy worked hard to keep the club informed and connected. As of July 1, 2021, Susan Dennis will be the 2021/2022 Rotary Club of Cadillac President.
