The July 24, 2012 Rotary Club meeting was held at Camp Torenta on Lake Mitchell.    At this meeting the members were able to view the recently completed Jim Clark Memorial Fireplace in the remodeled Activity Center.     Cadillac Rotary Club funded the renovations to the Activity Center and the fireplace construction was funded with memorials made in honor of Rotarian and Past District Governor Jim Clark.

Jim Clark was a member of the Cadillac Rotary for many years and was instrumental in the ongoing success of the Cadillac Rotary Club.   In addition to serving as Club President, he also served as District Governor for District 6290.     Jim lived the motto of "Service Above Self".     It is fitting that the memorial will serve as a memory of him for years to come.

Attending the meeting were Jim's three children, Molly Freier, Betsy Clark and Jeff Clark.    Their presence at the meeting gave members an opportunity to share with the family the many memories of their father.
