Nathan Reynolds
District 6290 Global Scholar
Speaks at Cadillac Rotary Club Meeting

Nathan Reynolds, District 6290 Rotary Global Scholar spoke to Rotarians at the November 11, 2014 meeting.   Nathan is a Cadillac High School Graduate, former Cadillac Rotary Outbound Exchange Student, former Rotaract Member and a graduate of Western Michigan University.

Nathan has recently returned from spending one year in Jerusalem at the Hebrew University where he studied and obtained his Master's Degree in Public Health.    The Rotary Global Scholar program paid for his tuition and living expenses for the year in Jerusalem.

During his presentation, Nathan thanked the Rotary Club of Cadillac and the members of District 6290 for the opportunity to study in Jerusalem and obtain his MPH degree.   He also spoke about his Master's Thesis, his project studying breast cancer markers in Palestinian women and about life in Isarel.

Cadillac Rotary Club is proud to have been part of the overall process to support Nathan's Global Scholar program.   The program is funded through contributions to the Rotary Foundation Annual Fund.     Cadillac Rotarians contribute funds annually to the Rotary Foundation and these funds support many programs including the Global Scholar Program.

Thank you, Nathan, for being a stellar example of the commitment Rotarians are looking for when we help support Global Scholars.     Thank you also for promoting Rotary through your "Service Above Self".
