2012 Bangladesh Group Study Exchange Team
The 2012 District 6290 Inbound Group Study Exchange Team from Bangladesh arrived in Cadillac on Friday May 25th and stayed with host families in the area until Tuesday, May 29, 2012. The team members enjoyed a fun filled holiday weekend that included a social gathering at Tom and Peg Smith's home, a bonfire at Doreen Lanc's home in Manton and an international picnic at the home of Kathy and Dave McCurdy. The team members also enjoyed running in the Rotary Stride for Strive 5K race on Memorial Day.
On Tuesday the team members spoke at Rotary and gave the club an overview of their homeland. It was great to hear them speak about how we may be from different countries, but all over the world, we are really all the same. Thanks for sharing your insight with our club!
Tuesday afternoon the team traveled to Traverse City to be hosted by the Traverse City Rotary Club.
